On behalf of myself and D T Waller Ltd, I wish to thank you for all the fantastic help and support you have shown over the years to the 3 apprentices we have had of late, as well as the support given and shown to the first apprentice we had 5 years ago, who is still with us and going from strength to strength.
The way Stuart, the assessor, has conducted himself has been excellent too. He is punctual and resourceful in his application. The different levels of communication he has used, depending on the student he is working with, has at all times been fair and thorough and a benefit to the apprentices.
The way MEAT have been has also been excellent and a pleasure to work with. They have supported us whenever and however has been needed.
It is no easy task, dealing with young adults, teaching them and training them to be safe, resourceful and profitable but the task has been met totally. Matt Waller

Andrew’s Quality Butchers
We are so lucky to have MEAT on our doorstep. While all our own butchers are trained on site to our own standards, we have also been giving our younger staff members qualifications in butchery, hygiene and management.
The staff at MEAT have been fantastic in fitting in assessments around our busy timetable and letting the boys complete theoretical college work at their own pace while they have been working full time.
Thanks to MEAT, Daryl and Scott have full butchery qualifications, while our 3 apprentices, Jake, Luke and Dan are in the middle of studying for their NVQs. Andrew Belcher
A Waller and Son
After a little discussion we agreed to enter Sean into training as an apprentice with Brian at MEAT. I feel this is the best investment I have ever made and recommend that other butchers do not hesitate to do the same. I wish I had done this years ago. To qualify this I can confirm that as a direct result of the training received from MEAT my own turnover has improved by nearly £40,000 a year. I thank MEAT for their help. Richard Welton
